Salem Media Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Ministry Growth Sales Executive to join our team, selling customized digital tools and assets to National Broadcast Clients to help grow their audience and generate new leads and donors helping them to achieve their mission.

 

As a Ministry Growth Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our innovative digital solutions to the faith community and foster lasting relationships with national broadcast ministries.  If you are a motivated and results-driven sales professional with a passion for helping Christian ministries grow, we encourage you to apply.

 

Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify, target, and engage national broadcast ministries (nation/world-wide) as potential clients.
  • Create and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay a step ahead of the competition.
  • Find qualified ministries leads and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to signed contract and solution onboarding.

 

Consultative Selling & Technical Expertise

  • Understand the unique challenges and objectives of ministries in growing their audience and improving their digital marketing and fundraising.
  • Customize solutions to address the specific needs and goals of each ministry prospect and client.
  • Provide consultative guidance and online demonstrations to showcase the value of Salem Media Group digital solutions for ministry growth and impact.
  • Develop a deep understanding of all Salem Media Group digital solutions, including website development, social media, paid digital marketing, geo-targeting, email, SMS marketing, and the basics of digital fundraising.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients as needed.

Relationship Building

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with ministry leaders and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with ministries to ensure successful adoption and implementation of our solutions.
  • Work across Salem Media Group divisions to collaborate and serve a wide variety of individual ministry/client needs that arise.

 

Reporting and Documentation

    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in CRM systems, billing/contracting software, etc.
    • Prepare regular sales reports of current activity and revenue projections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to ministry
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for helping ministries
  • Knowledge of the faith community and an understanding of their unique needs.
  • Experience in digital media sales, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge and interest in digital marketing and leading-edge technology.

$16.35 hour base plus commission
