Salem Media Group under the division of Salem Media Reps  is looking for an extraordinary individual to join our National Sales Team in a Podcast and Influencer focused role. This position, National Media Strategist, will play a pivotal role in expanding the Salem Podcast Network.  This highly motivated individual will be at the forefront of our mission, connecting our network of captivating podcasters with advertisers who are eager to tell their story to a highly engaged audience.   Salem Media represents some of the most powerful Podcasters and Influencers today including Charlie Kirk, Dinesh D’Souza and Trish Regan.  This person needs to be well versed in the Podcast industry, as well as have extensive background in digital sales.

This is a “Work from (almost) Anywhere” position!

• Work on large, comprehensive deals, new business generation, brand integration that focus on podcasting and influencer marketing
• Deliver compelling advertising presentations and strategic plan that address national clients’ objectives
• Responsible to accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines and overachieve annual budgets
• Collaborate with department heads to maximize revenue
• Insure strong client relationships

• The successful candidate will be smart, curious, tenacious, entrepreneurial, independent, passionate and enthusiastic, enjoy the thrill of the hunt by bringing in new business
• Track record of exceeding sales goals
• Proficiency in prospecting and effective listening skills 
• A College degree is a plus; with 1-2 years of sales experience, preferred
• Great problem solving and analytical abilities and strong business acumen
• Strong understanding of the local market, marketing concepts, and digital media
• Knowledgeable of Digital products & applications such as:
  • Search Engine Marketing / Audience and Search Retargeting / Search Engine Optimization / Social Media Management and Marketing / Digital (Programmatic) Display / Website Development / Live Chat / Email Marketing
