• Present news stories with clarity, professionalism, and objectivity, while adhering to our editorial standards.
• Conduct interviews with newsmakers, experts, and analysts to provide insightful analysis on current events.
• Collaborate with producers, editors, and other team members and Salem units to research and develop news segments that align with our editorial vision.
• Stay informed about current events, political developments, and cultural trends to provide timely and relevant reporting to our audience.
• Engage with viewers through social media platforms and other digital channels to enhance audience interaction and feedback.

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required
• Proven experience as a news anchor or reporter, preferably in a television environment.
• Strong on-camera presence along with excellent writing and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of national and world events.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced news environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with broadcast equipment, editing and production techniques is a plus.
