Overview

Salem Web Network, a division of Salem Media, offers an exceptional opportunity for an Account Manager for our Salem Ministry Services vertical.     

As an Account Manager, you turn plans into outcomes. You’ll execute the strategies set by the Strategic Account Lead, coordinate the right people and platforms, and keep deliverables on‑time, on‑budget, and on‑brand. You’ll manage day‑to‑day client communications, organize campaigns across radio and digital, and report results with clarity and recommendations.

 

Responsibilities

Key Duties 

 

Campaign Execution & Trafficking

  • Coordinate radio/streaming assets, schedules, and call to actions; ensure on‑air and digital campaigns reinforce each other.
  • Launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads/YouTube, Meta/Instagram, programmatic/display, and remarketing.
  • Manage email/SMS calendars, segmentation, and automations in platforms such as HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, and similar.
  • Partner with design/development to produce landing pages and conversion flows; route copy/design briefs; traffic assets; manage approvals.

Tracking, Quality Assurance, & Reporting

  • Implement and QA tracking (tag managers, pixels, UTMs, call tracking, promo codes) to ensure accurate attribution.
  • Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., GA4, Looker/Data Studio) and weekly/monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews reports highlighting insights and next actions.
  • Proactively identify issues (delivery, spend, pacing, creative fatigue, deliverability) and recommend fixes.

Fundraising & Donor Growth Support

  • Execute full‑funnel journeys: lead capture → donor conversion → sustainer onboarding → retention/reactivation as needed by the clients.
  • Support offer development and testing (audience, message, creative, landing page) to improve conversion rate, average gift, and Cost Per Donor Return (CPDR) / Return On Ad Spend (ROAS)

Client Communication & Project Management

  • Serve as day‑to‑day coordinator for client requests, timelines, and deliverables while escalating strategic decisions to the Strategic Account Lead.
  • Run weekly status calls; maintain project plans, and change requests; capture decisions and next steps.
  • Coordinate shared Subject Matter Experts (paid media, SEO, creative, analytics, engineering) to deliver on scope and timelines.

Qualifications

What You Bring 

  • 3–5+ years of account management or digital marketing experience; nonprofit fundraising experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands‑on platform experience: Google Ads/YouTube, Meta Ads Manager, programmatic/display platforms, and remarketing.
  • Email/SMS execution experience (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar marketing automation/CRM).
  • Analytics proficiency: GA4, tag managers, pixels, audience segmentation; confident building dashboards and pulling insights.
  • Strong project management in tools such as ASANA (or Monday/Jira); disciplined documentation and QA.
  • Familiarity with radio/streaming/digital audio and how to align on‑air with digital retargeting and lead capture.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets); basic HTML and web tooling familiarity is a plus.
  • Experience with supporting tools such as VirtuousRaise, Salesforce, RAB, Hubspot and Zapier is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; client‑ready presentation skills; ability to turn data into decisions.
