Salem News Channel (SNC) the streaming TV news division of Salem Media Group, seeks a National Director of TV Programming based in Dallas. Lead news, talk, and programming teams to create innovative content that captivates audiences. Requires deep knowledge of market trends, audience preferences, and the CTV/OTT landscape, plus strong organizational and delegation skills.

• Content Development: Oversee creation of engaging TV programming aligned with brand; collaborate with talent, writers, and producers.
• Strategic Planning: Analyze ratings/feedback to refine strategies; develop long-term plans to maximize viewership and revenue.
• Scheduling: Design balanced programming schedules; coordinate with marketing for promotion.
• Budget Management: Oversee budget, allocate resources, and negotiate contracts.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor teams; conduct reviews and foster innovation.
• Market Research: Track trends, competitors, and technologies; conduct audience research.
• Revenue Collaboration: Work closely with sales team to create and enhance revenue opportunities and growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, marketing, and distribution; attend industry events.

• Post high school education in OTT, Film, Television, Media Studies, or a related field and/or equivalent professional experience preferred  
• 5+ years of experience in media, with a proven track record in content development and audience engagement.
• Strong understanding of current television trends and audience preferences.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiencyin data analysis and interpretation to drive programming decisions.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for quality content.
• Informed on all current events and daily news nationally and globally
