Overview

Salem Web Network is seeking a creative, organized, and highly motivated Video Production Specialist to support our content marketing and SEO initiatives across multiple digital brands. This role blends video production, social media content creation, and community engagement to support and grow our faith-based, Christian websites, helping millions of users discover uplifting biblical content, encouraging videos, and Christ-centered digital resources.

This person will work closely with the Director of SEO and collaborate with various content teams to create high-quality video content, strengthen our brand presences on YouTube, social platforms, and support traffic growth across Salem’s network of sites.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit daily video content across multiple formats, including videos built from existing audio, videos adapted from existing written content, and fully original videos requiring topic research, script writing, on-screen text planning, and full production.
  • Balance a regular video production schedule with assigned video tasks, prioritizing by due dates and project importance.
  • Create short-form videos to support social media growth, articles, and SEO-driven content initiatives.
  • Assist in managing and growing multiple social media pages, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Light assistance in community engagement across owned-and-operated forums, including posting daily discussion topics, commenting on multiple threads, and encouraging ongoing discussion.

 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong video editing abilities (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar tools).
  • Ability to use Canva for thumbnail design, social post creation, and basic graphic needs.
  • Comfort creating both long-form and short-form content.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone for social platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, digital content strategy, or a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram preferred.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms is a plus.
  • A heart for faith-based content and helping users grow spiritually.
